"A really good base to explore the island. The property is well appointed, clean and great place to stay for two couples. Rooms are spacious. it is recently refurbished and so has everything you would need for your stay. The patio area in the rear provides a perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and reflect after a busy day. It is close to the local shops and there are a number of really good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. You will need a car to get the best out of staying here and exploring the island. Its about 20 mins drive from the airport and although the road is very narrow having the garage for the car meant that you can park and step straight into the house. We loved it and would stay there again when we come back. Our Host was very responsive and made the stay simple and easy."

"We loved the location, very central on the island and with best natural water swimming pools of the island at Lagoa! We visited them almost every day, it's a great experience.The BBQ facilities are really nice.All contact with the host was super. I was a little worried a few weeks before the stay because I had received no communication from the owner but this is totally normal and the communication was excellent when we were there.You might be waken up by the rooster but don't worry, it does not take long.I really recommend the casa cavalina"

"This is an amazing place on many levels. The location is perfect to be able to explore the entire island and Lagoa is not very touristy and is quiet. The apartment is so beautiful. I feel like I am in a home that was created with love and artistry. All the furnishings, art on the walls and tile work makes it very special. There are two balconies so you can sit out and see the water and the sunset and eat. The host Karen is very responsive and also very interesting. We got lost finding the place and she responded immediately. I hope to stay here again if I come back. The place is quite large and comfortable. Don’t hesitate to stay here. I will remember Karen and this apartment as a highlight of my visit to the Azores. Thank you."
