Casa Furna da Baleia charm & confort next Ocean, private patio and garage

"A really good base to explore the island. The property is well appointed, clean and great place to stay for two couples. Rooms are spacious. it is recently refurbished and so has everything you would need for your stay. The patio area in the rear provides a perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and reflect after a busy day. It is close to the local shops and there are a number of really good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. You will need a car to get the best out of staying here and exploring the island. Its about 20 mins drive from the airport and although the road is very narrow having the garage for the car meant that you can park and step straight into the house. We loved it and would stay there again when we come back. Our Host was very responsive and made the stay simple and easy."

"Our family of seven enjoyed staying at this property. The host was kind and very responsive. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking outside, cooling off in the pool and evening soaks in the hot tub. We were lucky for the milder late summer temperatures without air conditioning - there were only a couple of nights it was a bit too hot. It was a great place for our family to enjoy time together."

"We loved the location, very central on the island and with best natural water swimming pools of the island at Lagoa! We visited them almost every day, it's a great experience.The BBQ facilities are really nice.All contact with the host was super. I was a little worried a few weeks before the stay because I had received no communication from the owner but this is totally normal and the communication was excellent when we were there.You might be waken up by the rooster but don't worry, it does not take long.I really recommend the casa cavalina"
