The staff was friendly and informative about the property and the city. The room was clean and the kitchen area was great, the dishwasher was a huge plus. I stayed 5 nights and did not have any issues with my room during my stay. The most important part to any room was the A/C and it blew nice and cold all night. Next time I visit Portland, I'll be staying here again.

After reading some of the reviews, I was a little nervous about my stay, but Larkspur turned out to be such a charming place! While a bit outdated, it’s clean, cozy, and the staff are incredibly warm and friendly. It truly feels like a home away from home. ❤️

I have been staying at this hotel since it originally opened. It is always clean. The staff is always friendly, helpful and attending. The hotel is showing its age. The included continental breakfast quality has degraded to the point of providing almost no value. Overall, the stay is well worth the price. If you want a decent breakfast or a newer mattress, you might choose to spend a few more dollars and book elsewhere. But if you like the price being offered, you'll likely think, like I do. Which is, this level of room comfort and cleanliness, for the price, is a solid bargain!

The room has a full kitchen with pans provided and a dishwasher. It was a great extended stay for hikers, travelers, and everyone in between. The property was quiet and breakfast was nice. Every day had a different protien and carbs. It was a nice stay. Thank you.

Older property ( probably mid 1980’s) Well maintained, good quality. Safe, quiet near the airport and highway. Good price. Stayed there 2 times in a week as I traveled near Portland on vacation. The second was planned after staying the first time. Clean comfortable rooms. Good breakfast buffet.

Quiet place, staffs are great. It has potentials the carpet needs to be ripped out and changed. As you're walking on the 4th floor by room 426 hall you can see where the carpet is lifting. Theres a particular smell(old) throughout the hotel and the furnitures need to be updated. Overall, it was great, just some minor upgrades for the best.
