"Fantastically located with amazing views! The room was really clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. To top it off, they offered a really good breakfast spread with plenty of fresh food. Highly recommend staying here!"

"We loved this property. It is just 2 minutes from the beach and the excellent Cove House Inn. The property is unusually well equipped and very comfortable. There's plenty to do in the near surroundings and our teenage granddaughters loved our time here.However it was very hot while we were here and fans in the bedrooms would have been useful - but those are the only items we felt we missed.Thank you for a lovely holiday"

"Its an amazing property. Was there for the weekend with 2 freinds gave us all space for ourselves and places we could spend time together. It had everything we need and was also in a perfect location to get around with many places near by the coves, beaches, d-day museum and quarry were great to go around within walking distance although theres lots of steep hills and kept us busy. I have no complaints to give at all, host was amazing and responds quickly would recommend if you want a weekend where you can explore and just spend time with freinds or family x"

"We were thrilled with this apartment! It was super clean and had all the amenities and the space that we needed for our week long stay. The host was amazing and had checked in on us to make sure all was good. Parking was easy as we had a larger van and could easily park down the street with ample space. We would most definitely come back to rent this property.....Thank you!"

"This property was beautiful! All the art, decor and furnishings were so beautifully selected and curated. This is such a hidden gem. A 2 minute walk to the beach and the bus stop. We took the bus from outside the property all the way to the light house and it was the perfect location as a couple who don't drive. The beds are comfy, the kitchen has everything you could need. Beautiful, and wonderful hosts who communicated all the way through. Thank you so so much!"

"I was attending a course in the leisure centre next door. The Aqua was an excellent, relaxed place to stay. The staff/owners were polite, friendly and generated a relaxed atmosphere. The small, well stocked bar carried on this relaxing, informal atmosphere. (The squeaky bar stools could do with fixing but were still amusing) The food is top notch and very affordable. The cooked breakfast (Included) is amazing and you can select as little or as much as you want. Lovely coffee as well. Cereal and toast is also available and I enjoyed the relaxed serve yourself arrangement. Helga, was on hand to make sure you had everything you needed and was very friendly and approachable. You can take a walk to the highest point in Portland (490 feet above sea level) to take in breathtaking views and sunsets. (A bus is also available as it's quite a walk!) My room was clean and tidy and all I need in a stay. A comfortable bed and shower. TV reception was very poor, giving only a handful of channels, but this didn't really affect me as I don't go to places to sit in hotel rooms watching TV. The Aqua is a great place to relax and enjoy great food and drink. I liked the informal, laid-back atmosphere as this added to the relaxation. This, plus the attentive, friendly staff, made my stay very enjoyable. I would certainly stay at The Aqua again. "
