"It a excellent hotel - enjoyed very much - it is what we need for our R&R. Loved the Spa facilities. Everything i.e. Beach, nearby Restaurant are excellent and enjoyed daily inc boat rise to the caves and seen Dolphins. I'm marking this hotel for our next visit if we are making plan to visit Algarve again."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel Alvor. The rooms were decent and a fair size. The hotel staff were accommodating and the spa was very relaxing. The restaurant on the property but I only ate breakfast there because it was included with my stay. The breakfast buffet was decent and the concentrated on healthier options. Only thing is you have to ask for more food where getting the food options from the kitchen. If you choose to stay here, it is a good idea to have a car. It is a bit of a walk to get to restaurants in the area. Parking is free at the hotel which is a bit of a luxury because most places charge you per day to park your car. One complaint I do have is the state of the carpets in the facility. There were absolutely filthy and could use a serious cleaning or find an alternative to having carpet. Other than that, I would recommend staying at this hotel. "

"We had a fantastic family holiday here in September 2025. Great location on the edge of Praia da Rocha and a short walk from Praia do Vau. We love the family friendly atmosphere and accommodating nature of Portugal which made our trip with a 9 month old easier than we expected. The hotel is well styled and gives a sense of luxury the moment you step inside. Our room was perfect with plenty of space for a cot bed and playtime. The room was very quiet apart from a little traffic noise which can’t be controlled. Our bathroom had a bath which was ideal for our baby. All parts of the hotel were thoroughly cleaned by the lovely hotel staff. The hotel pool is small but perfectly adequate for a relaxing dip to cool down, and with the beaches close by, it was never too crowded. We had a great time and believe the whole experience was great value! Special thanks to Vivian on front desk for being so lovely with our daughter! Would definitely recommend a stay here and we would certainly go back!"

"It is right next to the beach and all the popular attractions. Great room with plenty of space. Surprisingly there are no outlets in the bathroom. Had to plug my toothbrush in the outlet near the bed??? "
