"This has a lovely view of the harbour and is great if you just want somewhere to make a coffee and use as a base between adventures. Smart TV for the evenings was good so we could pop Netflix on and the leather chair is beautiful to sit in Pillows are SUPER comfortable on the bed and plenty of cushions/blankets if you visit in colder weather. "The property was spotless, location was perfect, walkable to shops, town etc. street parking we had no issues but might be issues during busy season. Took a minute but figured out the heating, clearer directions would have sorted this out. We were a family of 6 and the property was perfect for us. Kitchen very well equipped, washing machine, had fire place as well. The beds were super cozy. We stayed 3 nights was perfect location to explore the local area. "

Waterloo Hotel Lodge

8/10 Good

"Overall nice and clean. The superior family lodge is over two floors. Staff nice and polite and personal parking space. There are three pod point EV chargers in the parking which is an advantage but sometimes all occupied. The slight issue was the heat. You wouldn't usually expect too much heat in Snowdon but given there was the heatwave going, the top floor where the bedrooms were, it was difficult to sleep there. They provided fans but still it was hot. Plus the fan wont throw air to the one sleeping on the bunk bed . For paying over £1100 for 3 nights, having no aircon is a bit of a shame. The hotel itself isn't worth that much price but its more the location you pay for. You have to book for a table for breakfast which is odd and then there are some generic things available to eat and you order the rest. There aren't many options but enough to have reasonable breakfast. Overall, nice but I might book somewhere cheaper if I came to Snowdon again."

"As a visually impaired single person i was a little worried, but i needn’t have been . Staff were courteous and helpful as soon as i walked in. Very pleased with room, plenty of space bright and airy, shower a little small, however ok, good water flow and hot. Breakfast buffet style, excellent choice, felt comfortable being on my own (very important) . Had excellent stay , will be back , thank-you everyone"

"This was my first visit. It’s a community owned hotel, run by locals who raised a lot of money to take it over and open it up again. They have done a great job. My room was spotless and I told my wife I needed sunglasses on the bedding was so white. A large shower in the en-suite was very welcome after a long day. I had my evening meal there and it was very good,"
