"It was outside the busy tourist area of Florence but also an easy walk to the all the main sites tourists would want to visit. It was where we met our tour guides from Trek Travel; they chose a great location. We had an excellent dinner there one night and the breakfast spread was awesome also. The only downside was the whirlpool tub and shower combo were a bit clumsy to maneuver in and out of but other than that it was great!"

area is extraordinary and private. The suite is stunning with a jacuzzi and turkish steamroom. (Beautiful ceiling fresco in the bedroom). It's a neat boutique hotel with history back to 1860's. There's space for parking but it's not far from the centre, a short walking distance. "

Only issue was Premium rooms - we paid for Premium (highest bracket and notionally in the top floor with best views) only to be told that the hotel website was wrong and that Premium rooms were on every floor.
