Very unique camping ground that needs New Zealand old school camping

Absolutely loved our stay here, what a well set out place, the property is immaculate and the hosts were just lovely. The breakfast is fab, I could not fault the place. we will definetly return and I will recommend to friends.

I booked with this accommodation because of past reviews I had read. Room was very spacious, very clean and cosy. Large bathroom and also spacious kitchenette area. We had a very late check in and staff were more than happy to accommodate us even after hours. Would definitely stay here again.

The managers Aaron and Danny are amazing, professional, yet very friendly. They made sure all our needs were met but allowing us the privacy to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Te Karaka lodge surroundings. Really enjoyed the stay. Room was excellent. Clean, fresh, classic. Tub and heated bathroom floor were particularly nice.

Probably the best hotel bed I've ever slept in. The room was near new, after recent renovations and extensions, and the bed had not had much prior use. Plenty of kitchen, dining and lounge space, big beds and a sensible toilet-bathroom layout. Plenty of space in bedroom and bathroom for personal use items too. The rooms are very small and basic and in need of a lick of paint. The room was clean and the bedding crisp and white. Don't expect any amenities in your room, they are basic and in a communal area in the hall. But that is explained in the room described. The showers and toilets are also communal and along the hall and are nice and clean. We were fortunate enough be given free upgrade to the Delux Ensuite Queen room by the owner of the hotel. Room was spotless, spacious just perfect for myself and husband. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay even though it was just for a night. Would definitely recommend to family and friends who’s outside of Auckland and are looking at a place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality.
