"My sister-in-law and I had a quick weekend getaway to wine country and this cottage was perfect! We each got our own room and room to spead out comfortably. And a beautiful surprise was a bouquet of fresh flowers waiting for us! Amazing! It was well equipped for cooking (and a very sensitive fire alarm) and the views were gorgeous. We enjoyed cups of coffee every morning overlooking the front. Just perfect!"

"My wife and myself both enjoy nature, and this place did not disappoint. Honestly picking the place strictly on the view alone did not disappoint. We looked forward to waking up early for the sun rise and coffee, enjoyed the winding ride up and down the mountain, and counted the minutes until sunset just to watch every evening."

"The cottage was beautiful. Very nicely decorated, had many amenities, like bathrobes, which we loved. It’s the little things :-) The WiFi was great, which was important to us, because we worked from there. It is in a perfect location between downtown Charlottesville and all the wineries. The property manager was very quick to reply to all my questions, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!"

"My family and I stayed at The Gingerbread House for my brothers graduation from JMU. House is exactly as pictured and described. It’s a perfect and cozy home for family. There were two living areas we could spread out and a perfect little dining room for family meals. The hosts had these cute little bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash set up and plenty of linens. Really lovely stay."

"This place was fantastic! Clean, quiet, safe, and relaxing. The TV and soundbar setup were extremely high quality, we had a great time playing two player on our Nintendo Switch as well as watching our favorite shows and a movie. We had an absolutely wonderful and rejuvenating stay here. The property fit our needs perfectly. The hot tub was clean and functional, the little curtains around it were a very nice touch as the backyards were a little close together and it provided peace and privacy....

"My family of three (2 adults and one 3yo) had the best time at the cottage. As we approached upon arrival we had breathtaking views of fields and fields of pink-blossomed peach trees. The view from the cottage itself was beautiful, with mountains in the distance and a peaceful farm in the forefront.
