The Oberoi is a beautiful property with very attentive staff. We stayed 14 nights & I believe the average is 5.I had no idea Turtle bay was so remote when the booking was made & as a result we found ourselves often in taxis usually destined for Grand Bay where we had some great Chinese dinners in a little back lane place recommended by Darmon, Oberoi chef. It was "100% local" accordingly to our taxi driver.Be prepared for an $80 return taxi fare. I cant take anything away from this property...

Such a beautiful place to stay! This really felt like a different, much more meaningful holiday. I love the sustainability model and the app technology - everything was at your fingertips and service was in easy reach. We stayed for 4 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The guest relations team especially went above and beyond to ensure we had a great honeymoon. The resort is not cheap, but i believe to be worth the money. So save your pennies before you arrive so you can really enjoy your stay! The food is to die for! I cannot recommend a night at the floating bar and restaurant enough. Truly an enjoyable, one of a kind experience.
