"We turned up and there was already a family in the property, we had no way of contacting someone and the family kindly gave us the owners number who contacted us the next day but the night we arrived we were left stranded after 4 hours of driving with no where to stay with 3 young children. "We had such a wonderful few days at Fern Cottage! The stunning views from all the rooms, especially our bedroom, were a delight to wake up to each morning. The place is charmingly decorated with lovely decor and furnishings and everything felt very clean. We did notice quite a few visitors eager to take pictures, but we didn’t mind at all! We even spent cozy evenings re-watching old episodes of Doc Martin on the CD player, which made our stay feel extra special. Check-in was easy and communications beforehand were excellent, as were responses to a couple of questions we had while we were there. All round fabulous."
