"Unfortunately someone had smoked in our room and it was likely the last room available as we arrived at 1am getting off the ferry so we were stuck with the smell even with window open at 14C. Other than that motel was nice with right to the door with vehicle."

"The hotel is a gem. As soon as you enter you know you are entering an opportunity for experience, not an average run of the mill hotel. The artwork is not just high end indigenous art, but rather meaning and purpose. Every staff person greeted us warmly and personably. There is no sense that anyone has been trained by Disney standards. This hotel is being owned by indigenous council. The staff stated that they are stewards. It is very evident. It is unusual to find a place so outstanding. We are very seasoned travellers. Here we felt like honoured guests. We thank Robert H. And these particular staff Chloe, Amy, Christine, Ann. We even learned some lessons in first language, but we didn't learn to spell. Maybe next time!!"

"This place is a gem: the location was close to town, the setting was beautiful and the accommodation well thought out. The amenities were more complete than most places we have stayed at, the bed was very comfortable, and the views inspiring. The host was very helpful and responsive. If you stay here make sure you go around the corner and visit Second Chance Ropeworks (Google the site)."

"The room was perfect. Spotlessly clean, very well equiped and beautifully decorated. It is a very comfortable suite, excellent furniture, bed and bedding very nice and comfortable. Most enjoyable is the outdoor patio well furnished, with an amazing view of the ocean. A plus is the bath tub with hot and cold water, shower nozzle and bubble bath. Privacy screen in place if needed. Kitchen area is well equipped. The hostess is most helpful and friendly."
