1 BEDROOM COTTAGE - Sleeps 4

Enjoy our cute 1 bedroom cottage with well equipped, full kitchen, dining table and comfortable living room with free Cable TV and free WIFI. Free onsite parking for 2 cars. Relax on the front porch or side patio with seating and shared property gas grill. Washer and dryer in the cottage.

There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom and the couch in the living room is a sleeper sofa (more equipped for children).

We are dog friendly, any size! 2 dogs max. At the time of booking, please let us know if you are bringing one dog or two dogs along. The fee for one dog is $115. The fee for two dogs is $165.

Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, cart, and beach toys included!

We hope you'll love our location as much as we do! There is easy beach access via our deeded path just a few houses down the street or you can walk to Stump Pass Beach Park and enjoy the day there walking on the beautiful nature path and stroll the beach searching for sand dollars, seashells and shark teeth. Grab a kayak and enjoy the day on the water. Walk or take the trolley to several restaurants that serve up delicious food and tasty drinks all day long. End the day watching the most beautiful sunset you'll ever see and then enjoy nightly live music right down the street.

Great place to get away! Nice little place to enjoy. The location is prefect and close to the beach. State park down the road, made for good early access. Found lote of shark teeth and sea shells!! Host was very nice and made the checking in process easy.

Quaint little cottage
We had a nice stay, but were disappointed with the condition of the patio. It was adequate, but no frills here. The walk to the beach was 9 houses down the street and then down a long pathway to the beach. But, we were told we couldn't sit on the upper part of the beach with the nice sand. No, we had to sit on the lower part of the beach with all of the broken seashells and where people walk and play. This was not a private beach, but a whole neighborhood beach. We disliked not being able to see the Gulf, or bay, from our cottage. We did enjoy the restaurants with live music. We stayed for one week in June, 2024. Also, in the pictures of the cottage, which were 5 years old, there was no house on the lot next door. Now there is a huge 2-level house on stilts. They can see everything on the cottage from the patio and into the living/dining area! Not much privacy here!

It’s ok
The front interior is very cute & welcoming. The inside is fine, a new kitchen that was well-stocked. The walls are scuffed & could be repainted, the door leading outside from the bedroom needs work as it is currently not useable. The furniture was comfortable. The cleaning staff could do a much better job with the floors. The outside patio has its’ challenges. It is 14x4 pavers spread a few inches apart with shells/pebbles as filler. The problem is it is easy to trip over the pavers & one needs to be very careful with chairs to ensure all 4 legs are on a paver. The patio area needs weeding & general clean-up. There are gas grills that need a thorough cleaning or replacement, there is a building with beach chairs/umbrellas/toys. The duplex is indeed the 2nd row from the Gulf & it is nice to hear the waves. To access the beach, however, you walk down 8 or 9 houses to a path that ends at a sign saying ‘private beach’. As long as you sit near the tide line, you can definitely use the beach. The sand in the path is very thick thus making it hard to pull a beach wagon. Of course, that has nothing to do with the property itself.

Great Location!
This property is the front half of a duplex ideally located near the beach and Stump Pass. Restaurants and groceries are within an easy distance. It’s perfect for solo travelers or a couple. Kitchen was adequately stocked, parking couldn’t be easier. On the down side, the private area is shared with the back half of the duplex, so the amount of light, sound, smoke etc are controlled by the neighbors. Also, you cannot adjust the temperature of the unit, which was initially set to 78, then 77. We had some cold weather while there and temps inside got down the the 60s.

Disappointing…
The location of this property is ideal and the surrounding area is quite beautiful and serene. We were very excited about visiting the area for Christmas break. Unfortunately, the cottage was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. We reached out to the host and sent her photos of the stained and sandy sheet on the sleeper sofa strewn with various kernels of popcorn, a pillow case with rolled dirty sheets, and the stained bathtub and bathroom wall and she insultingly inferred that we staged the aforementioned because we wanted to leave. We left after one night because we were a party of three, as the host was made aware upon booking, and the condition of the springs of the mattress on the sleeper sofa paired with the unclean condition of the cottage grossed us out completely.

Quiet, Private, Relaxing!
My wife and i really enjoyed our 6 day stay in the unit at 1125 Shoreview Drive. The owner was very quick to respond with communications. Unit was very clean and offered a good range of amenities. A wide array of dining options are just a short drive away. The only thing that could be considered a negative in any way, was that the AC struggled to cool the unit during the heat of the day, but always caught up during the cooler overnight hours. All in all, we had a great experience!!!

Cute cottage!
Recently myself and a couple of family members stayed in the bedroom cottage. The cottage was clean and conveniently located close to the beach. There are lot of pros staying at this city and only a couple of cons. It’s advertised as sleeping for. That’s two in the bedroom and two on the pullout couch. The bed was very comfortable but the pull put couch was like sleeping on metal springs. This place is perfect for two people only.

Great location, cute cottage
This cute cottage was perfect for me and my six year old. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and pail/shovels that we could use at the beach which was super easy to walk to from the cottage. Host was very nice and responsive with the one question we had. Highly recommend, we would stay again if we came back to Manasota Key!

Beautiful area! Perfect sized place for me and my little family. We really enjoyed it. The walk to the beach was a perfect distance for us to get in a bit of exercise after dinner and of course our trips back and forth throughout the day. Stump Pass State Park was amazing too! Bring bug repellent though!! Lots of misquotes.
