After driving 6 hours to your hotel, your staff informed us there was no water due to a water main break. I asked when did this happen and she replied this morning YET NO ONE called us to inform us of this situation. They had all day to call us so I could have made other arrangements. I just had 2 surgeries and was excited to go to a bridal shower in Beaumont. Very disappointed in this hotel experience. No water to wash your hand after using the toilet. No water to flush a toilet. No water to take a shower to look appropriate for the bridal shower. Very upset !! Colleen and Merril Lieb

I Know Y'all Can Do Much Better
I had my mother with me on work trip because we spent time tending to my grandmother's grave site located not far from hotel. For Mom, who spent most time at hotel while I was at work, beds and sofa too low and aggravated leg condition. When initially asked staff for a TV guide [channels had no station names] we were told no channel guide availale. Next day asked in person, we were given a channel guide. Also, cleaning staff who knew Mom was checking out later because they mentioned while knocking on door her 1pm check out began knocking on door before 12pm so Mom felt rushed to leave room before scheduled 1pm check out. One loyalty member perk I requested day before checkout so Mom could be comfortable as long as possible as she waited for me. Front desk staff ignored my Mom when she was waiting for me in lobby to pick her up after my work day ended to drive back home. I work in Port Arthur often and have brought my Mom a number of times in the past where I have stayed at competing hotel. I stay at Home2 in other cities and have usually had a positive experience. The property in Port Arthur is not in same standard as other cities. We did like the room cleanliness, walk in shower, size ,amenities, quiet, friendly neighbors, location, breakfast options, internet speed, and room lighting options. Unfortunately next time I work in Port Arthur especially when I have my 76 year old Mom accompanying me, I am returning to my regular hotel, competing brand in same area.

Nice family stay
Very kind and helpful front staff, rooms were clean and roomy. There was a place to walk your dog in the back area that appeared very clean and well stocked with waste bags. The breakfast was good and the food attendant was pleasant.

The sofa bed had crumbs under pillows, so that indicated safe didn’t vacuum the couch area. Our keys didn’t work after going to the desk twice , so we placed in a different room. We didn’t have Wi-fi access because of the room change.

The rooms were very primitive, sort of an IKEA shopping area. However, they are functional and for the price a bargain. For long term stays there is everything one can need. Just dont expect the Ritz.

Great Location, Great Food, Great Room
This hotel was clean, safe, centrally located for food & shopping, and equipped with many amenities. The breakfast was included and the hostess (Tonya) was very friendly in helping us. She was very kind to our family and my little one just adored her. He customer service was top-notch! We ate waffles, fruit, and sandwiches. The gym was equipped with the standard equipment. We also sat outside by the pool where they had umbrellas to block too much sun. My family really enjoyed the space in the room and the toiletries provided. We usually bring our own, but opted to use the hotel's because it smelled so good! The next time we are in the Beuamont area, we will book Home 2 Suites again.

I like the rooms. The suites offer a big sleeping area as well as a big seating area. Feels like a room at home. What i dont like is all rooms arent rated the same. Ive stayed here all the time when i visit port arthur, sometimes i get a well manicured room. Sometimes i get a run down one. But i coose yhe same type of room every time

I loved my stay I can’t believe I come to Port Arthur monthly staying 3-4 days costing my family 648-840 at Residence Inn. I don’t like dogs and my kids are afraid of them too. However, we stayed away from being around any animals the 3 days of our stay. I love the hotel great front desk staff, it’s beyond clean and I had one bedroom suit. I never knew they had. It smelled good. Housekeeping came by each day, my kids said this our new hang out when we visit. So my family definitely enjoyed their stay too. The price is way cheaper than other hotels that offer one bedroom suits. I will be back I hope to get room 420 or a suit on the 1st fooor.

The property is in a good location with Restaurants and Convenience Stores nearby. The Hospital is in walking distance. The rooms are adequate with a Kitchen. Breakfast is palatable and a plus for families.

I made reservation for specific room. When i arrived staff tried to give me different room. I had to argue. My room was cold and would not warm up. I called front desk and was promised it would be looked at. That never happened.
