"Every now & then, you find an absolute Gem, this was most certainly 1 of those occasions, the service at reception was simply outstanding both upon arrival & today on departure, all staff were extremely welcoming & friendly & although we knew no Italian (which is shameful English education system) they all spoke in good, clear English, the food was simply superb, every dish was cooked & presented in perfection, the immediate area around the hotel grounds was meticulously maintained, we chose a room with a partial lake view, but, in fact, it had a superb view & we were in awe. Of the whole feel & vibe of the place, both Caroline & I would like to express our heartfelt warmth & gratitude for the superb attention given throughout our stay, each & everyone we met & spoke to were great ambassadors to your Hotel, thank you, thank you, thank you, hope to see you again in the future."

"Room was well done up, but property was a dump. There was literally a pool half full of sludge and sign saying danger like a bad hotel in the movies. But worst was the air con, it never worked, and every time we asked they would disappear saying they were checking it and try to assure us it would now be working. This happened several times before a neighbouring tenant told us the air con never works there and they were just stringing us along. At night the temperature never dropped below 25 C (late September)"

"Though it's lovely, quiet and the staff are extremely nice and welcoming, I suffered from the bad A/C; they claimed it's regulated out of their control. Another drawback, you cannot smoke in the outdoor areas of the restaurants"
