"Wow…perfection. Everything from check in to cleanliness to comfort and coffee bar! Would stay here again in a heartbeat! The room was huge and the closet/bathroom area was the best I have ever encountered. The price point was extremely reasonable and you get a lot for the price. The onsite dining options were very good. Had a breakfast and dinner. I’ve noted where this hotel is in other cities and look forward to staying there in the future."

"I don’t write reviews often but we had a frustrating stay. We stay at Home2 Suites often when we travel. I specifically booked a king suite with a bathtub because we have two young children. I called a week ahead of time to make sure that they would have a crib available. The woman on the phone assured me they would have one, but she said she would put a note on my reservation to ensure there would be one for us. When we arrived my husband and kids went up to the room while I parked our car. He called and told me the room was not a suite. I went back to the front desk and showed them what my reservation said and they said they would move us a to a suite but they did not have any left with a bathtub. They said they would send the crib up to us in a little while. Once we got in our room I called to see when the crib would be delivered and they said they didn’t have any. We had been traveling all day with two little kids and that about broke me. Eventually they were able to get a crib to us. My children scream cried when I tried to put them in the shower. The whole thing was just so overwhelming and not the experience I have had at any other Home2 Suites. Needless to say we will not be staying here again next time we visit SLC."

"We stayed in the Sultan's Palace. Amazing room, but layout is cramped and didn't leave a lot of space to open suitcases. Staff quick to help with anything. We didn't have an iron or board, but they brought it in a few minutes. Plug-ins could be better for this room. The bed is on a platform up some stairs, but there is no nightstand or outlets, so you either need a long cord or leave charging devices down the steps. Parking was very easy and felt secure. You're going to hear your neighbors unless you get something like a sound machine or leave the TV on when trying to sleep."

"Made a last minute reservation to stay in Salt Lake City. The room was clean and well maintained. We did have an issue with the towel rack being significantly loose and the flashing around the tub drain was loose but over the experience was good. My only suggestion for the property would be to leave a travel sized bottle of dish soap and a cheap scrubbing sponge in the mini-kitchen so guests can clean the borrowed dishes."

"Pros: 1. Very pleasant and responsive owner. Replied to emails and texts very fast. 2.Was able to arrive early and check out late. 3.6 bedrooms. 4.Off street parking for 3 cars. 5.Safe, walkable neighborhood. 6.Nice outdoor space, with fire pit, hot tub and covered seating area. 7.Upstairs bedroom has dedicated air conditioning unit. 8.Laundry was fully stocked with all supplies, same in the bathroom showers. Cons1. Air conditioning controlled by a ecobee thermostat that was set to only be turned down to 69 degrees. Cool enough for some but not all. 2.Special light switches that were difficult to operate. Some didn't operate at all. Others were set to turn off after a certain period, annoying when I wanted a dim light on through the night in the bathroom. 3.Hot tub not working. Owner did have a technician out to look at it but it never worked. 4.Outdoor space was not clean, countertop cracked, sink not working, macrame chairs ripped and inadequate seating. 5.Top shelf in dishwasher broken. Other1. Upstairs bedroom is a nice master suite with a dedicated bathroom. It's a gabled ceiling so you can only stand in the center of the room and can only get out of bed by sliding to the bottom to stand up. 2.Several of the doorways are 72 inches tall rather than the standard 84 inches so if you are 6 feet or taller, you need to duck to go through3.Due to the gabled ceiling you can't stand up straight from the toilet or in front of it. "

My friends and I would definitely recommend staying here, and we are already planning something else for an excuse to come back."
