This has been my go-to hotel whenever I visit SLC--over 25 years. It never loses its appeal. Quiet, beautiful & close to the Big and Little Cottonwood canyons. There is an excellent creekside walking/running trail across the street. Good local services and restaurants nearby. The Residence Inn is close to a handy freeway entrance. So it's about15 minutes to the University of Utah and 20-30 minutes from downtown or the airport.

This was a great spot to stay if you have multiple families staying. There is an awesome pool, hot tub, pickle ball court, bbq area, and fire area. Great place for people to meet together to visit.

This was a great place to stay for our family. It is in a quiet area very near to numerous recreational areas in the Wasatch range. Breakfast was awesome and the pool was great to cool off in the evening. Rooms are a bit dated but otherwise clean, quiet, and comfortable. …would definitely consider staying again.

This is a great place to stay if you plan on skiing nearby. But the price did go up in one year which I understand however we rented a room with a small kitchen and it was not well stocked with cookware. The food at the breakfast buffet seemed to go downhill a little as well. All staff were wonderful and the hotel overall is clean and worth staying at.
