"Very nice hotel with access to a wonderful beach. Because it was winter, we were not able to do watersports because of the sea condition but it was still fun and kids enjoyed the park and the waterslides. Excellent destination for family."

"It’s a great hotel, excellent value for the money. Hotel is located very central and doesn’t have a private beach, what means that at the beach club anyone can come and take sun loungers as long as they pay, which is fine just something to be aware of if you are looking for a private beach. Hotel is really clean everywhere and there is staff making sure it’s staying that way. Massage at the hotel is very good too. Buffer breakfast is average which is expected. Overall it’s a great hotel. It also have a guest pick up option from the airport which is great priced. "

"Hotel idéal pour un séjour en famille. Très propre, nourriture délicieuse, kids club, animations, personnel souriant et aux petits soins. Plage juste à côté. Pas de transfert mais taxis à disposition (20€ de/pour l'aéroport et 5€ jusqu'à Santa Maria). On reviendra sans hésitation !"

"Wonderful comfy beds . Nice breakfasts. Helpful staff. Clean. Piri piri restaurant on site was a disaster. Husband ordered a pizza finally got it .mine didnt turn up. Waiter said sorry coming in few minutes , half an hour later turned up with a plate of seafood rice. We were only one of 4 people. Just a bad night , he said he was sorry and no charge. Think someone was spaced out!"

1st rate apartment in a fabulous location.

"The ad on Vrbo was slightly misleading. It wasn't clear that it was on the Melia Tortuga resort, so we were worried that it might have been above the Reggae Bar. We needn't have worried.The flat was fantastic, the location is perfect - you get use of Tortuga facilities whilst being fully self-catering. Splendid west-facing beach. Walking distance of Santa Maria, with a real African vibe, and a South-facing beach. Taxis 5 euros each way. There's a supermarket close by, in the complex opposite the front entrance to the resort. Also Cazu supermarket in Santa Maria, and Municipal Market for fruit and veg.Lots of great cafes and restaurants. Fresh fish is available daily. Really chilled place. "No stress" is the slogan. "

"Me and my family stayed at this resort for three days and the overall experiencing was good. Staff is very friendly every-time you ask any questions they are more than happy to answer. If you have kids this resort is for you, they have a children’s pool, children’s club and activities throughout the week. The food in general if your not a picky eater it’s good, they have the main buffet and three other restaurantes you can reserve for lunch/dinner. "

"No words can describe how wonderful our experience was at this hotel after Murdeira Village resort cancelled our booking on arrival, Robinson Resort were so incredibly kind and helpful and treated us like royalty after a stressful experience we had and they went out of their way to accommodate to the situation we were in during the fully booked Christmas period and made our Christmas so memorable. Special thanks to Olessya and all the staff at the hotel for everything they did for us . Cannot recommend this hotel enough , the quality of the food , service and entertainment and standard of the rooms is incredible. Thank you "
