Vista Mar, a Home in Madeira

  • Vista Mar is a studio in a rural house and is ideal for two people.

    There is a terrace of about 50 m2 which includes a barbecue and an inflatable jacuzzi. This terrace is sunny and has a wide view to the ocean and agricultural land. There is also an outdoor parking area.

    The studio is 40 m2 and includes one double bed, two armchairs, a dining table, kitchenette and bathroom.

    Is equipped with refrigerator, hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international and children’s channels, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.



    LOCATION

    The property is in a rural area near the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafes.

    Ponta do Sol is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira.

    A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.

    The property has easy access to the major roads.



    REMARKS

    Cleaning is done before guests check in and then there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels.

    As it is a rural area, there is potential for noise caused by dogs and other domestic animals in neighbouring properties. There are also insects in the surroundings that can be attracted by food scraps.



    CONDITIONS

    1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.

    2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.

    3. Guests must agree the check-in time at least two days before arrival and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.

    4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.

    5. Guests must inform about allergies, conditions or special needs before or immediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.

A perfect place to stay

We loved staying here, the property was very well equipped, had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed many evenings cooking in the outdoor kitchen then eating our meal on the terrace looking out over the beautiful views. The property is on a steep hill, so the walk down to Ponte do Sol although only just over a km has a steep climb back up. This didn't stop us and the views again were amazing. Whilst staying at this property we were able to walk one of the Levada walks right from the door which was great. We were also in a perfect location to visit all parts of the island. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was close by and the view of the terasse every morning and evening was so peaceful. We would highly recommend this place.

Amasing terrace with wow view and perfect for yoga, very clean, good shower, good supplies ie cleaning, bathroom, cooking, coffee, fruit basket, wine etc and very friendly and receptive hosts. I totally plan my trips to Ponta d Sol around when this place is available :)

A very comfortable apartment that has a terrace with a wonderful view across banana plantations to the sea. Wonderful sunsets while enjoying the hot tub. Very comfortable big bed and we'll equipped kitchen. I cannot think how it could be improved!

Liebevoll eingerichtete FeWo mit großer Terrasse

Die liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung hat eine große Terrasse mit Whirlpool und gemauertem Grill. Neben dem überdachten Freisitz mit Spüle und Feuerstelle gibt es einen großen sonnigen Bereich mit Sonnenliegen, Sitzgruppe und Jacuzzi. Die kleine Küche mit Gasherd, Backofen, Spüle und Kühl- Gefrierschrank ist komplett bis hin zur Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine eingerichtet. Neben dem Bett (1,40m) gibt es zwei gemütliche Sessel, einen Fernseher und diverse Kommoden bzw. einen Kleiderständer. Das kleine Bad verfügt über eine große Dusche. Die Besitzer wohnen eine Etage weiter oben und sind sehr freundlich. An der Straße ist ein Stellplatz, der zur Ferienwohnung gehört. Die Altstadt von Ponta do Sol sowie der Strand können in 10 Gehminuten erreicht werden.

A wonderful little apartment

This was a great place to stay away from the main tourist areas but still able to walk down to Ponta do Sol in the evenings (about a 15 minute quite steep walk). However it was also idyllic to sit on the huge terrace with lovely views and its own well equipped outdoor kitchen - a perfect place to relax after days out walking. The apartment is well arranged with a separate sleeping, living and kitchen area and we appreciated all the "supplies" which had been left for us. Thank you.
