"We loved Vila Toca. It was conveniently situated and within walking distance of shops, bus stops (including the airport bus) and the town centre. Our apartment had plenty of character. The balcony on the third floor was large and lovely for al fresco dining and had good Mountain Views. We also made good use of the swimming pool. It would have been helpful to have a few more details about the property e.g Wi-Fi code and the crockery and cutlery could have been a little more extensive . "A fabulous location, and surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of the old town. Apartment 1 is at the top of the building with 2 steep staircases to navigate. But once up there it is airy and bright with everything you could need. No hanging space for clothes but lots of room to store items flat. Accommodating and quick response to messages with host. "Stayed here last week and had a nice time… the property definitely could be cleaner. We arrived to food smeared on the cupboards, no top sheets, dirty couch and pillows. The location is great however, and there is easy street parking that is free. The deck and view are amazing. Overall our stay was pleasant but if you’re looking for a super clean and polished property, this is not it. Also had to coordinate with the owners brother to get the key which I found a little strange."

Ein Mietwagen ist empfehlenswert, da es ein ganzes Stück bergauf geht. Parkmöglichkeiten waren i.d.R. vor der Unterkunft gegeben (öffentlich/kein fester Stellplatz). Aufteilung gut (ein großes und ein kleineres Schlafzimmer). Wohnung ist etwas hellhörig. Die Küche befindet sich im Wintergarten der Terrasse. Gute Aufteilung. Würden wir wieder buchen."

"The roof of the accomodation / conservatory lean-to was a tarpaulin. There was an entire louvre door with no glass so there was no insulation from wind up the mountain which rattled the tarpaulin roof. The Jacuzzi never worked and the shower leaked into the bath and flooded the room. No sound insulation from barking dogs or heat insulation and no heater. No television and no Wi-Fi. No restaurant.
