"We arrived on time and although they were still ckeaning our room it was completely fine. They were very apologetic but it gave us a chance to get in some sight seeing. It is such a beautiful home and so peaceful. We totally enjoyed our time there and will definitely look at staying again should we return for a second trip to Kawhia. "Great place to stay after our caving adventure. Wonderful host and great breakfast included. Only bummer was the parking situation. If you have much luggage it’s a hassle to carry it up the stairs, and parking was a small distance from the rooms. "

"Reviewing for a group of 3. We stayed in the family room for 1 night while visiting the nearby glow worm caves. We had a great stay. Only about 10 minutes from the caves. The property is situated on a hill, and the patio right outside our room had spectacular views of the surrounding region/mountains. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet at night. Bathroom was spacious as well. Small kitchenette had a few items as well including electric kettle, tea, coffee. Complementary breakfast was continental and definitely a plus; had everything we needed for a long day. Was nice to meet the owner Trevor as well as his dogs who can be seen around the property. Would stay here again. "
