"Staff did their best to make a bad situation, tolerable. As noted by the hotel, they are surrounded by construction that is noisy and messy. Parking is nearby but you have to drag your luggage to the hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant and service was good as was the food. "

"wad there in June. 2026. there were a couple problems with our first room. understandable considering they had just recently reopened after being closed due to the fire at the Glasgow train station. The AC didn't work and the bathroom had hot water running from both tabs. What was amazing is how they handled it. initially we were just in a standard King room. I believe the gentleman's name was Mossad that came up. He was very apologetic and friendly. he couldn't get the AC working. A few minutes later. both him and the hotel manager came up and helped us move into a beautiful suite. they also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. things like this do happen at hotels. But it's how they deal with it. that is important. And the staff was absolutely fantastic all the way around. breakfast in the morning was also terrific. it was a huge buffet with a massive selection. what a perfect way to start the day. It's an absolutely beautiful well-maintained historic Hotel."
