Inside: 5,300+ sqft of custom finishes — marble kitchen with Sub Zero fridge and double ovens, wood-burning fireplace, Smart TVs, and 5 ensuite bedrooms. 10 minutes to Apple Hill wineries, 45 minutes to South Lake Tahoe. Three-car garage + driveway. Sleeps 10.

    This is a true single-story mansion — no stairs to navigate. Over 5,300 sqft spread across 5 ensuite bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms on a 5.85-acre lot surrounded by tall pines.

    The kitchen is built for group cooking: marble countertops, a massive island with wine fridge, Sub Zero refrigerator, double ovens, coffee bar, and every appliance you`d need (blender, rice cooker, kettle, toaster). There`s a formal dining area plus island seating.

    The living area features a wood-burning fireplace and Smart TVs. The owner`s suite has an oversized bathroom with double sinks, bidet, and a huge walk-in closet.

    The game room has a pool table and ping pong table — great for rainy days or late nights.

    Outside is where this place really shines: a 60-foot pool, built-in Spa, covered patio, gas grill, hammock, and acres of fenced yard under the pines.

    Full access to the entire property — all 5 bedrooms, kitchen, game room, pool, spa, yard, and three-car garage. Keyless entry so you can arrive on your own schedule.

    We`re available 24/7 via the app and monitor messages around the clock. For emergencies, we can be reached by phone. We also have a local team of specialists on standby for any issues that come up during your stay.

    Jenkins Lake is just 1.6 miles away, offering fishing, kayaking, picnic areas, and scenic walking trails. Whether you`re looking to relax by the water or enjoy some outdoor activities, Jenkins Lake is a perfect nearby retreat.
    Famous Apple Hill, Apple Hill Golf Course is approximately 2.8 miles or 18 minutes away, visit over a dozen wineries within a 20-minute drive.

    A car is essential. Sacramento is about 1 hour west via US-50. South Lake Tahoe and Sierra-at-Tahoe are roughly 45 minutes east. Apple Hill wineries are 10 miles away, and Placerville`s downtown shops and restaurants are about 15 minutes.

    Important — Winter Access: This property has a long driveway that can be difficult to navigate when it snows. A four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle is strongly recommended November through March. We have a snow removal company that services the driveway, but 4WD/AWD may still be necessary depending on conditions.

    We charge a one-time pet fee of $100 per pet.

    During winter and severe weather conditions, particularly when it is snowing, a 4-wheel-drive vehicle is strongly recommended.

    The pool and spa are not heated.
    Parties/Noise: In order to respect the neighbors and our quiet neighborhood, we do not allow parties in the house. No pool or spa use between 10:00 pm & 8:00 am.

    Number of Guests: There will be a fee of $50 for each guest over 10 unless discussed with us, even if the person does not stay the night. This is to prevent parties.

    Check-Out: Check-out is before 11:00 am. There will be a fee of $100/hour for late checkouts. We kindly ask that prior to leaving, do all your dishes, gather towels and start a load in the washing machine, and take out the trash. This helps us keep the cleaning cost down. Leave the home basically as you found it when you arrived.

    Restrooms: Please do not flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet.

    Smoking: Our house is a non-smoking home. There will be no smoking of cigarettes or weed inside the house or a $300 charge.

    Candles: We do not allow candles in the home, this is a fire hazard.

    Damage: We understand that accidents happen. We ask that you please let us know when something is broken so that we can replace or repair it. There is a stain remover under the sink in the kitchen for the carpet and bedding.

    Pets: Pets are allowed with a $100 per pet, non-refundable fee. No more than two (2) pets are allowed. Please alert us prior to your stay if you are planning on bringing along your pet. All pets must be fully potty trained, and not track mud or dirt into our home; please clean your pet`s feet if they are dirty/muddy prior to allowing them in the home. Pets are NOT allowed on any furniture, including the beds. Keep the bedroom doors closed that are not being used. We shall not be held responsible in any way for anything that may happen to your pet. Please note, there will be an additional $100 fee for any animal waste found on the property after you leave. Please note that the pets are not to be left alone at the home.

    Lost Items: Please do not forget anything in the home. We can not package and ship things that are left behind.

    Cameras: We have a Ring Video Doorbell camera installed at the entrance for safety.

    House Rule: Spa Usage

    Important notes:
    • Spa is connected to the pool system and cannot run continuously without risking equipment damage
    • The 3-hour window must be scheduled in advance (same-day requests subject to availability)
    • Unscheduled activation is not available — please coordinate your usage times

    Why this policy: Continuous heating causes excessive wear on pool equipment and significantly increases utility costs. This structure keeps the amenity accessible while protecting the system for all guests.

    Utilities: We kindly ask that you switch off lights and turn off AC/heater when not in the home.

    Garbage disposals are for small food residue only, not for disposing of food. Please scrape all food into the trash before rinsing plates.

    Please do not unplug anything in the home. It is difficult for the next guest if lamps are unplugged, and there are items in the home that operate the door lock and doorbell. If you don’t know what it is, do not unplug it. Do not unplug the wireless router or modem or it will shut down the door lock and you may get locked out.
