It is 5 -10 minutes walk to the cypriot restaurants clustered round Polis town square, and a 5 -10 minute walk to Polis beach. The fishing village of Latchi, famous for its fish taverns, is a few minutes drive or 20 minutes walk along the beachfront promenade. Latchi is also a water sports centre with scuba diving, power boating, sailing, and boat trips leaving from the marina. A few minutes further down the coast is the Akamas peninsula, a nature reserve with scenic walking trails, and the Baths of Aphrodite.
