Excellent location as it’s a five minute walk to the beach with super views; two fabulous pools. Hotel was incredibly clean and staff were always polite and ready to help. Amazing buffet breakfast every morning and wonderful entertainment every evening at the cocktail bar. Definitely value for money. Thank you!

Rooms smell and smaller than advertised. We did not receive the room we ordered. Bed covers had stains. Dinner buffet (part of the packet was not good).

Loved it, beautiful views, great position. We only had B and B but breakfast was 5 star. rooms were lovely and well equipped and all areas of the hotel were modern and clean. Only downside was the pool too small and crowded. Children’s pool below was hardly used as too shallow. This was a huge space and completely wasted in my opinion as the majority of children used the adult pool?

Nice hotel but disappointing stay
Good points: The hotel is in a great location. Close to bars and restaurants. Lovely spa Plenty of choice at breakfast Rooms basic but clean Lady who deals with tours in the hotel was excellent. She really went out of her way to get us a jeep tour as it was end of Season and we were limited on what we could do and see. Bad points: Restaurant staff could hardly raise a smile and they were very slow in clearing tables at breakfast The pool is nice but the sun beds don’t have any parasols so no real shade! The hotel has sun beds on the beach but YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM! 60 Kuna per person per day which is approx £7 (depending on your exchange rate) you do get a cocktail in with that but I think it’s still expensive if you don’t want a cocktail! Also if you want a parasol it is a further 35 Kuna!

Fantastic
The Medora Auri in Podgora is in a fantastic location! The hospitality team can help you with anything you need - excursions or renting a car - and I found that booking these things directly with the hotel was better value for money but equally fantastic service. Renting a car was super easy, the car was brought to the hotel and picked up from there also so no faffing or inconvenience. Also, excursions and trips were arranged brilliantly, picked up and dropped off at the hotel doors. The main town, Makarska is very close and easy to get to (10 minute taxi/bus ride but can also be reached with a nice stroll along the promenade) and has all the main links to boat trips to the islands, day trips to Krka National Park or Dubrovnik etc. Both Podgora and Makarska have wonderful communities that made my holiday fantastic. The restaurants and supermarkets were also great, plenty of choice and multiple options for children etc. Hotel food was great, buffet style with almost anything you could want. I was very impressed with the hotel’s consideration for guests with food allergies - such as myself. Everything is picture labelled clearly with allergens and they have a “gluten free corner” and also many options for dairy allergies etc. I had expected to do as I always do in holiday and take a guess and hope for the best but was very very pleased to have had the luxury of knowing what I could eat! Stunning beach also, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great location, friendly staff
great hotel right on the beach. clean and spacious and did not feel too busy even during our visit in peak season. Staff really could not have done more to make our stay memorable especially Dragana so a special thanks to her! we will certainly be back!

Fantastic hotel
Very chic interiors and design. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to the beach. The room was spotless and very comfortable. I cannot think of a single thing I would have changed! Would definitely recommend and would like to return!

Absolute pearl of Croatia
The hotel is in the beautiful clean Podgora. This hotel offers everything anyone cab wish for: whether you are a family with children, adults, or seniors. The food was absolutely delicious, stretching, yoga and aqua aerobics with Ivan and Roman great. Our 4 year old Audrey couldn't wait to go to Kids Club. It was truly amazing as Antea treated children as little adults but also played with them a little. Simply a great vacation! We'll be back!

Unfriendly staff in management who don't care about your problems or concearns. tiny rooms. Building has Cold modern architecture. breakfast mediocre. beach is public over crowded and hard to find a beach chair, which you have to pay for.

Great location but not suitable for our family
Podgora is a beautiful little coastal town and the Medora Auri Resort is in a great location at one end of the main promenade. However we were disappointed with the hotel itself and cut our 7-night booking short after two nights. We did visit in early July when the hotel was fully occupied but found the public spaces just not big enough to cope with the number of guests. The pool and restaurant were so overcrowded that neither were enjoyable. Our family room with ocean view was right above the beachfront bar which played live music until late - not suitable for our young family. The staff did try to help solve our issues which we appreciated but even that didn't make us want to stay as we just didn't feel like it was the right place for a relaxing holiday.

Modern clean hotel, newly rennovated. Great beach
Beautiful beach at the hotel. Clean modern room but walls are very thin so can hear the people next door. There's only elevator in the main building. my room was facing the sea view so can watch the beautiful sunset. Nice air conditioned rooms but no hot water so had to take cold showers. Great restaurants within walking distance. Takes two hours drive from split airport but the beach at the hotel was worth it! Excellent breakfast selection.

Ok hotel, but I suggest that you stay in the main building and not so called pavilion, which is detached from the main building. During our stay the wifi was not working at all.

Lovely new beach hotel
Lovely stay at the newly refurbished beachfront hotel. A few teething problems given its a new hotel but all fixed promptly as with a smile. Views fab and rooms well designed. Podgora is a lovely spot for a holiday. Pools great too!

Wir waren das zweite Mal im Medora Auri und waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Die Meerseite bietet einen phantastischen Blick auf das Umfeld. Sehr gutes Essen, freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen. Einziges Manko ist, daß kaum Geschäfte und Lokale etc. im Ort in der Nachsaison geöffnet haben. Immer wieder gern.

Hotelanlage: Schöner Strand und schöne Anlage. Allerdings hat uns der Pool nicht gefallen. Waren nicht 1 x drinnen. Es ist ein modern eingerichtetes Hotel. Der Kinderpool nicht überdacht. In unserer Zeit war es sehr stürmisch, sodass am Strand und am Pool keine Schirme aufgestellt worden konnten. Also Sonnenbrand vorprogrammiert. Restaurant: Wir waren am ersten Abend geschockt. Durch viele Urlaube haben wir eine Möglichkeit zu vergleichen. Es war sehr laut, und zu anderen Zeiten kein Unterschied. Das "Restaurant" gleicht einer Halle mit vielen Tischen. Nicht gemütlich, wo man sich zum Essen gern zurück zieht. Einzige Möglichkeit: 1 Terasse und 2 Balkone. Die 2 Balkone waren super. Allerdings nur ca. 8 Tische jeweils. Die Terasse geht gar nicht. Weil: Abends zu dunkel. Kaum beleuchtet und man hat das Essen auf dem Teller nicht mehr gesehen. Hier kann man mit mehr Lichterketten (gab es auf der schönen Promenade) mehr Licht erzeugen. Zum Frühstück saß man direkt in der Sonne. Ein einziger Schirm in der Mitte hat den gesamten Rand nicht abgedeckt. Wellnessbereich: 1 Sauna, 1 Whirlpool, Massage gegen Aufpreis möglich (sehr zu empfehlen), 1 Dampfbad Der gesamte Wellnessbereich war nicht einladend. An der Tür stand "nur Erwachsene". Es tobten Kinder im Whirlpool. Ein Ruhebereich war es nicht, was zu einem Wellnessbereich dazu gehört. Das Dampfbad war viel zu heiß. Fazit: Ein auf Familien (eher Kleinkinder) ausgerichtetes Hotel. Wir kommen nicht wieder. Aber in die Gegend schon.

Ophold var som forventet da vi har været der før. Vi fik god service af venlige personale og god mad. Det eneste at sætte fingeren på er at personale under måltiderne fjerner service alt for hurtigt inden man er helt færdig med at spise. Det gør også at der var en del støj og larm. Håber at de finder en bedre måde at være effektive på. Ellers super god ophold og strand og vand til 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Uusittu ja siisti hotelli aivan meren rannalla upeilla näkymillä pienessä ja rauhallisessa Podgoran kylässä, palvelu hotellissa oli erinomaista. Hotellin aamiainen ja päivällinen oli runsas, ja vaihtelua oli sopivasti. Tähän hotelliin voisimme mennä uudestaan.

Kjempebra hotell!
Veldig bra hotell med dyktige ansatte i samtlige avdelinger. - Veldig god seng på rommet - Høy kvalitet på frokostbuffeten - Mange varmretter å velge i på middagen Eneste negative opplevelsen jeg har er relatert til heisene. Det er for få og for små heiser på hotellet. Heisene er i tillegg treige til å åpne seg og går senere enn de fleste heiser mellom etasjene.
