"The property and the room we're immaculate and the Staff were very friendly and helpful! The toilet was a little hard to flush (handle was hard to push down) but younger guests might not consider that an issue. As for the view, I thought I booked a room with a view of the lake but instead only saw the roofs of other buildings and what looked like large air handling units with a few trees in the distance behind them (a nice brick wall would have been a better view). If the view from the window matters to you I would suggest confirming you're getting the room you think your getting. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay."

"I enjoyed our stay in The Inn at Jim Thorpe - the Fall decorations and added touches throughout the hotel were quite lovely!! We had a lovely time in the bar attached to the Broadway Grille for pre-dinner cocktails. The bartenders were friendly and we especially enjoyed the Apple Carmel Martini!! Highly recommend. The guest rooms were quite spacious and comfortable! The Breakfast Menu in the Broadway Grille are varied and the portions large. Our waitress was friendly and very accommodating to our group. The other added benefit is having parking included with your stay. The town gets quite crowded especially during the Fall Foliage Season so this is an added luxury!! The Inn at Jim Thorpe is centrally located to the many tourist attractions, stores and restaurants in town. Marie"
