"Friendly host and clean interior, but high price tag for low amenities We booked this last minute hoping for a peaceful farmhouse stay surrounded by rolling hills. While the estate is in the countryside, the guest house itself is tucked inside the property with no view of the surrounding landscape, which the listing photos slightly misleadingly suggested. Top Plouer-sur-Rance Hotel Reviews

Escale Oceania Saint-Malo

8/10 Good

"le déjeuner était parfait complet avec beaucoup de variété"

La Maison des Armateurs

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is immaculate and staff are helpful, friendly and professional. It is ideally located, just inside the main gate, easy walk 15-20 minutes from the train station one way and from the ferry terminal the other. It has an elevator!!!! Breakfast was very good. The rampart walk easily accessible as well. St Malo is a beautiful town and La Maison des Armateurs is a fantastic hotel. We will stay here again, without hesitation, on our next trip to St Malo."

Pierre & Vacances Résidence Ty Mat

10/10 Excellent

"This was a last minute booking due to other travel disruption and was excellent value. Clean appartment with very good facilities although the sofa bed was average. The check-in was easy and close to the port which was important for us. Reception was friendly and efficient. Good games room and swimming pool for kids."

Domaine du Limonay, The Originals Collection

8/10 Good

"Was disappointed that hot tub was not working as that was one reason we chose this hotel - however made good use of the swimming pool which was nice. Nice hotel overall in pleasant quiet surroundings. Room was large with nice balcony but some items could do with updating such as the bath which appeared badly stained or could do with a good clean. Had dinners/starters in bar area which were good."
