Charming French Old Rectory

We had a great week here in August. Large garden, lots of parking and many beaches within 30 minutes. You can walk into town along the river to get bread in the morning. The staircase to the upper floor begins in the master bedroom; we didn't mind this but some might. The owners live nearby and were very helpful. I would describe the style as shabby chic.

Hôtes accueillants, cependant des problèmes sur la propreté (puce, saletés), ce qui nous a valu de quitter le logement 12 heures après notre arrivée. La plage n'est pas à 8 minutes, mais bien à 20 minutes en voiture. Nous attendons un remboursement.

Nous avons loué la maison à 10 (9 adultes et 1 enfant) et plusieurs points nous ont contrariés. L’entretien général laisse à désirer : machine à laver encrassée par le moisi, poussière et poils d'animaux retrouvés un peu partout. Le mobilier extérieur est vétuste, et la cuisine n’est pas tout à fait fonctionnelle (couteaux émoussés, plaques et bouilloire défectueuses – dont nous avons certes été prévenus oralement à l'arrivée). Il nous semble enfin être rentré avec des puces... Dommage, car le potentiel est là : la maison est grande, bien placée, le terrain vaste et tranquille, l'environnement agréable... mais un entretien et un équipement plus soignés seraient souhaitables.

Séjour très agréable entre amis dans ce bel endroit. La maison possède le charme de l'ancien, et certains désagréments avec.Les :- le jardin, - l'espace- le hameau mignon- la proximité du bourg de Plancoët pour les commerces et de lieux de balades magnifiques- arrivée sur place facile- plein de BD pour les amateurs !Les - :- une des 5 chambres annoncées est en fait un point de passage obligé pour le 2ème étage ce qui était assez redhibitoire pour nous, nous avons renoncé à l'utiliser et avons du "entasser" 3 ados dans une petite chambre- il y a bien une douche et une baignoire, mais dans la même salle de bains, l'autre ne comportant qu'un lavabo ; donc pour se doucher à 9, prévoir un timing conséquent !- l'escalier qui dessert les 3 chambres du haut est à déconseiller aux personnes âgées, aux jeunes enfants et à tous les adultes qui ne sont pas agilesBref, nous avons passé un week-end très agréable et le sentiment positif l'emporte, mais il nous semble que les conditions matérielles effectives mériteraient d'être mieux précisées pour éviter de vraies déconvenues pour certaines personnes à l'avenir.

Hébergement très bien situé qui doit être encore plus appréciable en été avec son grand terrain. De nombreux sites à visiter à 25 km autour et de belles plages et chemins de randonnés à découvrir. Laurence nous a accueilli chaleureusement dans sa jolie maison de famille au charme rustique. Il est à noter que l'escalier permettant d'accéder aux trois chambres à coucher du dernier étage n'est pas adapté aux personnes âgées ou en surpoids. L'emplacement de la maison est idéal pour découvrir la cote d'émeraude et profiter de cette belle région.

Joli endroit avec un espace vert important. Une demeure qui a une âme, une décoration hétéroclite qui m'a bcp plu. Nous avons passé un séjour de partage en famille des plus réussi. Pour les adeptes des lieux "à la bonne franquette". Cependant quelques aménagements permettraient de mettre 5 étoiles tel un grand parasol, un four à changer.
