"We were warmly welcomed by our host Norbert. The house was very well equipped, spacious, well heated and very clean. The setting of the house is amongst forest, providing privacy, yet only minutes on foot to the village. There are numerous birds and squirrels that can be seen from the house. The town offers thermal baths and a small casino for light entertainment. There are many scenic drives in the area, and historic towns. We would definately consider revisiting this house."

"Jolie maison rénovée. Bien équipée pour une famille (nous étions 7 adultes + 1 ado). L'interieur et l'extérieur est plus joli que sur photos! Il y a deux salle de bain. Deux WC dont un qui est dans une SDB. Cuisine bien équipée pour cuisiner en famille."

"Randonnées, visite de villes, de châteaux, de fermes, etc ... Le temps n'était pas au beau, maïs le chalet est très agréable, très bien équipé, très propre et on y trouve de nombreuses activités pour se divertir : grandes télévisions, baby-foot, jeux, fléchettes, etc..."

"Very forthcoming and flexible host in terms of arrival time, nice and clean chalet near a large pond (very calm surroundings), amenities not too far."

"The property is wonderfully arranged and decorated and turned out to be exactly as described. It feels homey and we loved hanging out in the large living room/kitchen. The weather wasn't the best but both the outside terrace and the little shed near the stream are beautiful to enjoy when the weather is right. I would not recommend this property for groups with young children because of the stream and the difficult access for young children to the kids bedroom. There's tons of things to do around...

"The house is spacious with fantastic views. Two big triple rooms and 3 doubles. One down side is that there is not a shower in the main bathroom so only 2 showers and 1 of those is in a bedroom. Big games room with table tennis and table football. Loads of outside space ( deck and balconies). Walkable to town though steep climb back up! Two lakes to play on; Gerardmer and our favourite, Longedmer. Loads of great places to walk from the door. Download Kamoot app and off you go. Fab holiday....
