"The unit was very clean.The bed and bedding was very comfortable.TV and AC worked great with no issues.It felt newly decorated. "My sister and I stayed one night. We got a suite so she had the bedroom and I used the sleeper bed, which was comfortable. The dinner food was a surprise to us. It was certainly enough for dinner. Breakfast buffet was also good. I would stay here again. It may be more expensive but when you factor in dinner and breakfast it is affordable."

"This property is an excellent value for the cost, and right across the highway from King's Island! We just needed a clean place to sleep, and I was impressed by the generously sized fridge and the microwave in the room. While the property is not new by any stretch, our room was clean and so was the rest of the property. If your room faces the highway, the traffic is loud. I use special sleeping era buds, so it didn't matter to me, but if traffic noise bothers you, ask for a west facing room."

"The staff was very nice at Best Western Mason. Unfortunately, the drain in our bath tub was clogged and held water. The front desk staff changed us to another room without any problems. The new room was clean but there was a hole in the wall where the door handle hit under the wall protector. I was not a fan of the small shower/toilet area. The pool and hot tub are smaller than they appear in the photos. The breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and other bread options. The food was fine overall. The location to Kings Island is about a 9 minute drive."

"It was an accessible hotel that a short distance from King’s Island. I got the studio on the first floor with a kitchen. If you are staying with your family, it had a kitchen and a refrigerator to be able to cook and store food if you didn’t want to go out to eat. They had a breakfast buffet and eggs and sausage were prepared. But, I have never been a fan of cook it yourself food, in this case pancakes and waffles. If you are in a hurry or have hungry children, not a good idea. The front desk were efficient, but they seemed a tad annoyed and uninterested. I traveled around the world in places like Vietnam and Cambodia where the hotel staff were over the top polite and kind. I don’t expect that everywhere I go. But, in general, there is a real contrast between hospitality culture in other countries versus the United States. It’s not just hotels, even between airlines. It’s a discussion that needs to be had by the American hospitality industry. I don’t expect Cirque de Soleil when I walk into hotel or onto a plane, but when I’m paying, don’t behave like you are doing me a favor. This goes across the board in American hotels. It’s not a unique problem."
