The shower was also in need of a good scrubbing and hot water was intermittent at best. The hot tubs were NOT hot. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant bonus. "What a beautiful property! There was always enough shade in and around the pools, and excellent bird watching within the hotel grounds. The location was excellent, with the beaches, national park, and town/restaurants within easy walking distance, but it was nice and peaceful at the hotel itself. Our room was nice and the shower was excellent. The only problem was the lack of soundproofing - we heard every word and footstep from the suite above. Issues we had (and hence 3 stars) are: rooms are very dark, very dim lighting, showers had no hot water half the time and when there was hot water then pressure in shower was very weak, dribble. Breakfast was good and nature all around. "

It was great cooking outside with the warm breeze. We also had a hammock where we spent a lot of our time listening to the nature sounds.
