"To be at Villa Cofresi any time around sunset is to be in paradise. This was always a fun hotel with great service but, after the terrible destruction of Hurricane Maria, they completed a restoration that made it beautiful, as well. The addition of a dehumidifier in the room was very thoughtful, too. The only thing I really miss about the incredible bar area is the open grill they used to have. Back then, the combination of the happy, busy customer buzz around the bar, the music, waves, the view with Desecheo in the background and finally, the smell of searing burgers, shrimp, etc. was intoxicating!! Still, one of my favorite hotels on this planet. Thank you!"

"Amazing place and excellent check in process. The property is amazing, waking up to the ocean view every morning was the best. Quiet neighborhood, excellent for families and a short drive to all attractions and activities. "

"First of all, let me say that our host, Jennifer, was awesome. She was very reliable, and took care of any problems immediately. The condo itself is beautiful and spacious, with 2 large balconies and amazing ocean views. There are also many extra amenities that we were not expecting like beach chairs, towels, coolers, etc So we were very happy with the condo itself. The only problem we had was to get the key you were given instructions that the key was in a drop box on a pole along the entrance. There were 2 poles with drop boxes and many were broken and unlabeled, so we had a little trouble finding ours. I did let Jennifer know and she said she would take care of it. The beach in front of the condo is very rocky, but there is a sidegate that leads to a small beach area that the water is swimmable. The water does start out calm in the am, but the current picks up in the afternoon. The only reason I gave 3 stars to the property nearby is because to the right of the hotel is a partially fallen down house and another collapsed building which is your view when you are out in the water. There also is not really a way to walk along the beach which we normally like to do. So if you are looking for a quiet more secluded beach, then this is for you. If your looking for one that is more active, with lots of nearby activities, then this probably is not the place. So all in all, we really enjoyed our stay, except the water is not the Caribbean blue that we were expecting "
