A few lovely touches included such as a cold water dispenser with reusable and returnable glass bottles. Beach chairs and umbrellas available to borrow and beach towels to rent. Uri was exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing information and helping us with taxis etc "

"This hotel is very special in an old Catalan farmhouse. A truly luxurious experience - really loved it. The staff were super nice and there were loads of free parking options around which seems quite rare on the Costa brava. " The receptionist was initially evasive and unhelpful when asked for advice on parking. But I persisted with questions, & she offered more information and it turned out that she knew more than she had let on. E g. the parking places marked with white lines are free at certain times of the year, while the blue ones are fee-bearing.
Also, I don't remember having ordered breakfast but she informed us that all reservations come automatically with breakfast.
The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and the view that I upgraded us to was fabulous.
It was convenient to have the tourist offices close by to get info on our Costa Brava hiking routes.
