Old Town Senses Boutique Hotel

"The room was very modern with a comfortable bed. AC worked great. Breakfast was good. Appreciated the frig but the freezer did not work. The bath/shower was unique and little risky for older people. Very short toilet and I'm short. We were on the ground floor facing the parking lot so kept our shutters closed."

"If only staff at all hotels were this good. It is in a nice convenient location in the old town with a few minutes walk from the city gate. From a fabulous welcome, it was an easy check in. Then escorted to the room with an explanation on how everything worked and a complimentary welcome drink. The next morning breakfast was lovely and after check out I was taken out of the old town to the taxi stand where the hotel staff explained to the taxi driver where my next destination was. All round fantastic service and thanks for a lovely stay."

Savaas the owner is a gentleman and knows and loves his city and history and will teach some highlights of the past of Rhodes. Beautiful place, loved my stay and will some day come back to this experience again. Very impressed!!! We love Rhodes or Rodo how locals call it."

"Very cute bedroom and hotel. Small-ish but fine. Bedding on the hard side. Great location. The staff is the only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars. No one was at the reception for more than 10 minutes and a phone number to call doesn't help when your phone service doesn't work in a new country. We asked for an extra pillow and the lady said "maybe" because they were unlikely to have extra (bizarre for a hotel) and never delivered a pillow. We went out for dinner and the hotel door was locked. No one told us they were a code but fortunately someone heard us and opened us from inside. No one in the lobby when checking out ."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The studio is situated in a quiet area of the old town square. Lena was amazing and helpful! I arrived in the early hours of the morning. Communication was excellent and self checkin was easy to follow, with no issues."

"I had an issue with the patio door lock on arrival. The manager called the maintenance guy out at 9pm at night to attempt to fix but was unable to. They promptly moved me to the same room opposite and promised to fix it by the morning. They kept that promise, and I was offered my original room back or could have stayed but I opted to take my original room. One day I got back and there was a small gift from the hotel to apologise! There was no need it was dealt with. The staff were wonderful and always friendly and smiling, nothing was ever too much. The mini bar addition in the room was a nice addition as well!"

"Fantastic stay. The check in was smooth and easy. Location could not have been better. Right in the centre of the medieval city. Room was quiet and well maintained. Absolutely love everything about the hotel. Highly recommend"

"We stayed in an Executive room for five nights. 1. We weren't told that the room is cleaned and tidied only every other day. Things like that should be mentioned in advance. 2. There was a coffee machine in the room. We ran out of coffee capsules after a day and a half. When I asked why the coffee supplies hadn't been replenished, I was told that this had to be done through room service (for a fee!)"
