I was very happy with the place. The staff friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for you. Good entertainment and everything you needed was available within the hotel. However, the standard of cleaning in the hotel room required improvement especially the bathroom.

The hotel is a little run down and not all the amenities claimed were open. The room had a broken toilet seat and the bath drain closure was very dirty. Reception staff were standoffish and slow to service people however staff in restaurants and bars were lovely and friendly. The VIP lounge access was excellent to have.

Good value for money, and the buffet was very good with a nice variety of food. The two restaurants included in the all-inclusive package were unfortunately very disappointing. The food was poor, and some of it seemed like frozen pizza. In our opinion, the buffet was much better and offered far more choice. The hotel also shows signs of poor maintenance. We had several problems with the air conditioning during the first few nights, but the staff provided us with a fan, which we really appreciated. Apart from that, it is a nice hotel with a good swimming pool for children. The Greek-speaking staff were very friendly and helpful. However, some of the international staff could improve their customer service, as this affected the warm Greek hospitality that Greece is known for. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and would consider staying here again.

This is a lovely hotel but it could do with some maintenance. The staff were friendly, especially Dimitris. There were quite a few niggles in our room, like the AC could have been cooler, the shower kept over flooding, ants in the kitchen. The breakfast had variety but it was average. We had an amazing private pool in our block so felt relaxed. Overall, we didn’t allow these issues to get in the way. We had a wonderful break. The hotel really stepped up when the wildfires happened and provided food and shelter for all those affected. Hat off to them!

It’s alright… but Not the greatest. Appreciating it’s a massive complex but the whole place looks and feels a bit tired. 50 years old this year… and you can tell. Check in is painful and for some reason seems to take an age. We stayed in one of the family bungalow suites up the mountain side. Concierge service with buggies to get you up and down thank god. The room was ok but… as I say… in need of a refurb. Aircon in the room defo needs a re-gas or service. Had trouble getting to sleep some nights as it was still pretty hot in the room. Had an “American” style breakfast included… lots to choose from. Staff could defo do with cheering up a bit… not many smiles knocking around. Overall… I’d give it 6 out of 10.

For such big hotel, only five people working on the check in counter. So many people were waiting for the check in. I have waited for three hours. The room was ready for after 4pm. This is not the worst. The air conditioner for the whole building was broken. My room was 30 degrees.

Worst 5 star hotel I ever stayed in. Run down, dirty. During my 5 night stay in an executive suite, I asked for 3 things and all were responded with a clear no. They are stingy and rude and hotel is badly maintained and dirty. They gave us 2 coffee capsules for 5 nighta and didn't replenish. Breakfast room has one coffee machine for hundreds of people. Was almost half an hour wait to get coffee in the morning. Main building has 3 elevators for 17 floors and hundreds of rooms. One of the elevators doesn't work and people either waited for a long time or walked up to 7,8,9 floor by foot. Just don't stay there. There are so many better options

On first glance this hotel is really appealing to the eye and seemed to be the perfect way to start me and my girlfriend’s holiday, however not long after the problems began to show themselves. Halfway through our holiday my girlfriend and I contracted food poisoning from the ‘aqua-splash’ restaurant which had cost us €18 each and when I went to the front desk about this I was turned to customer relations however when I explained the reason I had come the only response I had was aggressive and the man just kept going round in circles so I thought it best to just tell them to keep an eye or look how they prepare the food there if nothing else. On top of this we noticed that although the booklet says our linens would be changed every 3 days this infact turned out to be false, as we had our linens once over the course of 8 nights. Also, for such a big hotel with so many rooms, having 3 lifts for the entire hotel seems to not work, as there were a NUMBER of occasions where we would be waiting for a lift for awhile (5 mins +), or when we were in a lift and we had to go on a magical mystery tour just to reach the lobby. When in the lobby, the staff weren’t very helpful at all, there seemed to be a lack of care and effort from almost every single one of them when trying to ask about the simplest of things like a bus timetable, all info seemed to have to be extracted from them and not passed over willingly. Overall just not worth the money as there are many better options around.

Very disappointing experience Unfortunately, our stay at Rhodes Palace Hotel was far from what we expected. The hotel does not look like the pictures advertised online and is quite outdated. It really needs some refurbishment and refreshing. We booked a room for three adults and specifically requested two single beds and a sofa bed or additional rollaway beds. However, when we arrived, there was only one double bed and one single bed. As three adult men, this made sleeping very uncomfortable, and we had to struggle for two nights before the sleeping arrangements were finally sorted out. We also had a blocked sink where the water would not drain properly. We reported this repeatedly, but it was not fixed. Even the cleaners were apparently unable to clean the room because of the problem. Eventually, we had to speak directly with the manager before anything was done. The air conditioning also had problems, which made the room extremely uncomfortable and, at times, suffocating. Overall, the whole experience was very difficult and disappointing. We expected much better, especially considering how the hotel is presented in its pictures. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend Rhodes Palace Hotel to others. Hopefully, the management will take these issues seriously and make the necessary improvements.

The service in the restaurant was consistently disappointing. We were shown to our table by the staff and naturally assumed they would take our drink order immediately, but unfortunately, they did not. We often had to get the staff’s attention ourselves in order to receive cutlery or place drink orders. On several occasions, orders were incomplete or incorrect, such as missing cutlery for one guest, receiving the wrong type of drinks and not receiving all the drinks that were ordered, hardly surprising, since the waiter turned and left before we had even finished ordering. We expected a higher level of service and attentiveness from the restaurant staff. In addition, the pool area at The Dome was closed throughout our entire stay. This was not communicated to us in advance, nor was it clearly stated on the hotel’s website. We asked and the staff nor the reception did not know why it was closed. Our children were particularly disappointed, as they had been looking forward to using the pool during our holiday.

I had a fantastic stay at the Rodos Palace Hotel. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. The meals were delicious. The location is perfect, close to the city center. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist. I highly recommend Rodos Palace for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
