"Lilly's Cottage is in a great location to explore western Crete both north and south coast. The sea and the mountains are very close by and there are lots of places to explore. Lily was very welcoming and provided us with homemade dishes which was really useful after a long day out exploring. Our 6 year old son really enjoyed spending hours exploring the garden and olive grove. Beware the rip tides on some of the beaches on the north coast. There are no signs so read the guide books. "We had a wonderful time at La Stella! The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very welcoming. Babis was the life and soul of the bar and Maria would give you any information about the local area you could ever need! "Loved the waterpark esp for our son. Also the buffet for dinner was excellent, though the a la carte restaurants not so much. The room was spacious and clean with no carpet on the floor. Staff were excellent too, professional but friendly. The only thing missing was a bidet in the bathroom."
