"Jeremy and Kim were the perfect hosts.The property was just what we expected and our 5 year old granddaughter and 10 month old grandson absolutely adored the swimming pool.All good baby equipment supplied bedroom lay out was very good for a family with young children and grandparents Thank you Kim and Jeremy for a lovely holiday and for making our holiday perfect.The West family"

"This is a guest house rather than a standard hotel, although it has standard amenities. Situated in the countryside near Chenonceau castle, the property is located in a former mill house bordering the Cher river, which some rooms overlook. The house is surrounded by a large garden, with a swimming pool, pétanque court, ping pong and access to paths along the riverside. The staff is welcoming, informed, and extremely helpful, especially with advice about restaurants and activities in the area. Breakfast is generous, mostly made in-house and sourced locally, including honey, jams, and local charcuterie. There is a living room with teas, coffees, and infusions available fee at all hours, with chilled local beers for a fee."

"A very pleasant stay at Les Rives du Cher. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, both speaking excellent English. Our room had a beautiful view from the balcony, and it was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel is very picturesque, with pleasant gardens, parking for all rooms, and is only a 10min walk from the town centre, with it's historic buildings, and plenty of places to eat. We will be returning..."

"Our host, Laurent, was very welcoming and went above and beyond to help ensure we had a wonderful stay. The house is super cozy and adorable - a real French experience with the exposed cave walls. We will definitely stay with Laurent again when we come back to the Loire Valley. "
