"A very pleasant stay at Les Rives du Cher. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, both speaking excellent English. Our room had a beautiful view from the balcony, and it was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel is very picturesque, with pleasant gardens, parking for all rooms, and is only a 10min walk from the town centre, with it's historic buildings, and plenty of places to eat. We will be returning..."

"Such a fantastic experience. Truly a historic and beautiful property. Olga and Olivier were amazing hosts. Highly recommend the custom dinner they offer(and they tailored it for several food allergies in the family). It was our family's favorite meal on the trip including in Paris! Close to all castles in the Loire Valley and also close to local beaches on the Cher River. The kids loved the pool(we all did since we were in France during the highest temperatures in French history). The town of Montrichard is so beautiful and has the last standing medieval tower/Castle on the Cher. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to feel what it is like to stay in a 16th century castle. Loved the authenic antiques and armor! Merci Olivier and Olga."

"Our host, Laurent, was very welcoming and went above and beyond to help ensure we had a wonderful stay. The house is super cozy and adorable - a real French experience with the exposed cave walls. We will definitely stay with Laurent again when we come back to the Loire Valley. "
