Wake up to the sounds of chirping tropical birds at this lovely, treehouse-style cabana that's perfect for your escape into nature. Surrounded by greenery and with tons of light coming through, this home provides a wonderful environment for relaxation. Your cabana is equipped with a kitchenette that includes a refrigerator, freezer, blender, juicer, microwave, electric stove, toaster oven, and coffee maker to make snacks or meals. For a change of pace, try the common BBQ area with picnic seating and sear something on the grill. Stretch out in the hammock with a good book, sit down to eat your lunch alfresco, and curl up each evening to scroll through the offerings on the smart TV.

This property is located within a five-minute walk of a quiet, beautiful beach, perfect for sunbathing and swimming in the Caribbean Sea. Surfside has a variety of great restaurants, as well as a supermarket, a spa, bowling lanes, and a scuba center within a short drive. You can even enjoy some friendly competition on the mini-golf course a short walk away.

No on-site pool available, however, most resorts in Maya Beach will offer pool access if food or drinks are purchased. The nearest resort with these facilities is a 5-minute walk away.

Great place to stay

So great to stay here close to everything. They had a list of local place to Che k out and taste local foods. Which we did and each one was just as good as the last one. We can't wait to return. I would recommend the stay here to anyone.

Treetop Oasis!

I stayed here for 7 days last month and it was incredible. Beautiful treetop oasis with everything you need- relaxing screened-in porch with hammock and a setting for our daily serene breakfasts, comfortable beds, kitchenette with a full-size fridge, and easy access to everything Placencia has to offer. The hosts are very helpful with tips or any questions while still giving their guests ultimate privacy in a beautiful natural setting. We visited during the pandemic and not only is this a gold standard approved hotel but the facilities were following all protocols and we felt very safe staying here. I would definitely stay here again and cannot recommend it enough!
