The service from staff was great. The beds were soft sheets semi firm mattresses. The location was convenient to shopping, tourist destinations and to the City of Pittsburgh. It's located near multiple restaurants of various budgets. The downside was the bathroom to our suite was a little dirty and the building decoration needs and update.

We stayed here to watch Pens game. The drive to rink was 20 mins. Check in was easy, room was clean, very quiet and within walk in distance of restaurants. I would stay here again.

The staff here was very helpful and attentive. Specifically, I left my expensive AirPods in one of the rooms. They kept in touch with me until I could return, and we found them under a chair in the room. I appreciated that they did what they could to save me a couple hundred dollars.

The staff was all extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel was in a safe area and the lobby remained tidy. The only problem with the hotel was really dim and dingy lighting, which I later realized was used to help hide scuffed up walls, old patch jobs, and old flooring. The rooms are severely in need of a renovation, which is why the rating was a little low, but with a little TLC, this place would be perfect!

I was gratified-- the heating system worked well (room was cold when I arrived, but the window system was quiet and efficient). The bed could use replacement... but was serviceable for me. I was assigned an accessible room on the first floor, not requested or needed, but it was okay and apparently not needed by other guests. Friendly staff. Clean, conveniently located, quiet

One of the worse experiences I’ve ever had. First of all when we first checked in we noticed one of the elevator was posted out of service then the entire facility smells like curry cooking. Then when we came back down stairs to get some water and try to use the other elevator that one was also not working and we had to advised the front desk. So both elevators were down. We further noticed the room door handle was broken at #210. Also the south main entrance door is never secure. Anyone could have enter the facility. Further more after 2 nights of stay we contacted the front desk for late check out which they initially approved for noon instead of 11am, which they then call the room 15 mins later and told us it was denied. The entire experience was unprofessional and unpleasant. The place should be shut down for unsafe elevators and main door not being secure for safety for your guests. Simply horrible!

This was a very last minute reservation due to another hotel not honoring our request through Expedia for a smoke free room. This hotel did have a smoke free room available, but it smelled horrible. Very old and musty type of smell to the whole room, sheets, and even the curtains. Shower looked gross and the hotel overall was not too clean. It was so late when we got in after dealing with Expedia that I didn't feel like asking for another room, not sure if it would have made a difference. Staff was friendly at check in.

combat bed bug trap under curtain, only in the Hotel long enough to use the bathroom. Bed bugs infested. Went to Hotel desk to get our money back and tell them why only thing she could offer was for us not to write a review.

Not a bad facility generally, though one of the elevators was not working and the other elevator was very slow. The big issue was the key cards. They key cards did not work at check in. They did not work when returning from a show we went and saw that evening, and they did not work when we returned to our room after breakfast. Each time we had to return to the front desk to get new key cards. Once I can understand as a hiccup, but every time we went to use them is a problem. A problem that ensures that we will not return.
