It is an excellent place to stay if you don’t mind commuting 30 mins to downtown Pittsburgh. The staff were very friendly and accommodative of early check-in requests.

I asked the front desk what the air freshener was in the lobby. It smells wonderful. They told me it was a secret even when I told him I was serious I really would like to know they told me it was their secret. I asked them to find out what it was if they didn’t know so that they could let me know, and they laughed in my face.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was enough options, well stocked and counters kept clean. Room was clean and pleasant decor. Wish there was an EV charger on the property, though.

When we arrived after a long drive at 2:45 we were prevented from entering the hotel by two employees who appeared to be housecleaning staff smoking on a bench at the entrance. They said we couldn't go in until 4:00 which was check in time. I have used Holiday Inn Express many times and we was always allowed in. If a room was ready, I was checked in and if one wasn't, I could leave my luggage and either relax in the lobby or come back at 4:00. I am an elderly woman. This was not an appropriate greeting.

Property has several lovely seating areas on the main level for family and friends. It also has an outdoor fire pit with casual chairs. Room was exceptionally clean and personnel were friendly. Breakfast was standard fare but adequate. Location is far enough away from interstate (within view) that noise isn't an issue. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here with my two kids while visiting a friend in Pittsburgh. The rooms are nice, very clean, the staff is EXTREMLEY friendly and helpful (with the exception of one front desk person but thankfully we disnt have to ibteract with her too much) the breakfast is good and the lobby is beautiful. The pool is very small, smaller even than a normally "small" hotel pool and there is an indoor ice hockey rink only a few miles away. One of the nights we were there the hotel was PACKED with travel hockey families. There were about 40 kids in the pool acting like animals. I'd suggest you check to make sure there arent any hockey tournaments scheduled during your stay if youre looking to utilize the pool!

Staff needs to have better professional training. Lady on the breakfast serving did not have enough supplies, she switched off everything even many families’s kids wanted to grab a bite, Considering the fact that it’s the new year eve, many people will wake up a bit late, facility could extend 30 mins for breakfast, First job of hotel is hospitality, everything comes later.

They put me directly next to an elevator, so I got to get woken up by every single late night trip up and down from the lobby. They decorated their lobby with fall themed decorations, which would have been cute if not for the obscene amount of hay making it smell like a barn. The "non-dairy" coffee creamer they have in the rooms have sodium caseinate in it, which is derived from dairy products, so I'm not sure how they can legally get away with calling it a non dairy product. I am vegan, so if I had ingested it like I nearly had, it would have wrecked my stomach for a week. The room itself and the decor inside were some of the ugliest I've ever seen, and the tv worked so poorly I can't imagine it was even made in this decade.

Awesome hotel, very clean. Great for kids.
The hotel was very nice, very welcoming and warm, the rooms were very clean. The breakfast buffet had many choices, and was delicious. Our kids loved the pool area too. We will definitely be back.
