Fisher's Hotel

Fisher's Hotel

8/10 Good
"Conveniently located in centre of town. Large room & comfortable beds. Food was reasonable although vegetables very 'al dente' and even when we asked for them to be cooked softer they returned just as 'hard' Not everyone likes their veg served in this way!!! Parking was also an issue. My aunt has a disabled blue badge yet we could not get a guaranteed parking place in the hotel car park for the first night. Had to leave the car in a public car park down the road. Not ideal as she uses a rollator walking frame."

Pine Trees Hotel

8/10 Good
"Both the hotel and the staff were excellent, I particularly liked Ravi the hotel manager. My only gripe was the lack of thought for us vegans.. the menu made it feel like veganism was an afterthought and the very generous free pantry didn’t have any to offer us."
