"All staff I had contact with were professional, friendly and welcoming. The cleanliness of my room and the hotel overall was excellent. Some bits of the hotel are dated or needing maintenance but not to a degree that affected my stay. Would highly recommend "

"The whole stay was fantastic! The staff are ALL so welcoming and friendly, the atmosphere when you walk in is warm. The breakfast was great plenty to choose from as well. The concierges are more than accommodating, the scenery and setting phenomenal. It was peaceful, the bar lounge is comfortable and a gorgeous view - even when it is raining! Bedroom so comfortable and a proper size television in the room too! Tea and coffee amenities and robe and slippers and an umbrella. We will definitely he back sooner rather than later"

"We chose to stay hear because it was our dream on this backpacking trip to stay in a castle. The castle is beautiful, warm, with the wood fireplace burning. I will say that for a very old property they keep it extremely unkept. It is of older charm, so keep that in mind (older carpets, less electrical plugs). The food , staff, and the stay was amazing, I only wish we weren’t backpacking so we could’ve stayed longer. One thing to note are that the parking situation threw us off alittle because there is a sign at the entrance of the estate saying no vehicles pass this point but you can drive all the way up and part in any spot around the castle. So don’t worry about parking."

"We had a lovely stay earlier this month and were very impressed with the renovations that have recently been carried out in the hotel. We had a lovely relaxing stay and enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant. We enjoyed a drink in the bar after our meal . All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely like to stay at Pine Trees again soon. "
