"We really enjoyed our stay at this rustic, charming, old farmhouse surrounded by acres of property The place is very quiet and calming and we enjoyed sitting on the courtyard with a glass of wine enjoying the quiet country ambiance. The house has two large bedrooms, and the bathroom has a large walk-in shower. No A/C, but the thick walls keep the place cool and the numerous windows provide a nice fresh breeze. If you like peace and quiet, especially at night, this place is for you. Francesca is a great hostess who communicated well, and her husband Luca gave a great tour and background of the property in English. There are a couple other farms nearby, so you might hear a chicken or a happy donkey braying at mealtime. Be advised that the upper floor is accessed through a compact spiral staircase, so anybody with mobility issues should not rent this property. Getting heavy luggage up to the upper floor can be a bit of a workout, but we took advantage of it to work off those large meals!"

"What a fantastic stay! The villa was a hidden gem — incredible value for money. We stayed 14 night for a tournament in June . The owner was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. She has little English but Google translate came in handy every day . The lady of the house recommended restaurant to eat in at night time .. Breakfast was simple with tea and toast, and Villa had a relaxed vibe. The pool was a real highlight — crystal clear and beautifully maintained — and the grounds were stunning and peaceful. A perfect place to unwind. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a bace that's relaxing and that won’t break the bank! car is needed to get around . "

"If you are looking for a quiet stay we highly recommend this VRBO. It’s in olde town Spoltore, Abruzzo Italy. It was very quiet, peaceful with a beautiful views and scenery. The power and internet was a bit weak, it dropped a few times, we also lost hot water. Washing machine was very small as well, only held a few shirts and maybe 1or 2 jeans/pants, no dryer, but has hanging racks. Spoltore is a very lovely town but very little restaurant choices and very few people able to speak English. We spent a day in Pescara, which had tons more restaurant options, plus the beaches. All of this is minor compared to how charming this place was to stay in for a couple of nights. "
