First-The management company is terrible at returning texts/messages on VRBO. However, if you call and leave a message, they get back to you quickly, so call. The house is amazingly beautiful, modern, VERY clean and everything is provided for you.We loved it so much we wanted to buy it. It is very private. We will definitly be staying there again.

House and property is wonderful. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of outdoor space, and quiet with beautiful views
My wife and I stayed at this property for a early valentines getaway and it was the perfect location. Best part was laying in the tub at night and watching the stars. I hope we get a chance to visit again.
We loved our stay at Jackrabbit Junction. It is a serene and quiet setting and the house is quite unique with interesting decor. The master bathroom tub/shower view with walls of glass was my favorite & you feel as if you are outdoors. Would definitely love to come back again to stay.
My wife and I spent three nights at Jackelope Junction. What a great property! Everything was "as advertised" on VRBO site. Great views, comfy bed, stocked kitchen, and a clean and functional hot tub. We'll have to come back in the summer to try the pool. The shower and tub in the main room were great, maybe a little more strategically placed landscaping for a bit more privacy with floor to celling windows. Great stay, we'll be back for sure!
We had a nice, relaxing time at Jackalope Junction. It is a beautiful peaceful setting and the hot tub was the highlight!
The kitchen is well equipped for all of your cooking needs. Be aware that the final 3 blocks to the house is on a dirt road that is doable with a low car although slow going because its badly rutted from water damage. It is best to get there the first time during daylight so that you become familiar with the road.
There were a few issues that we brought to the management company's attention after our stay. We found one of the patio doors unlocked when we arrived, which was a bit concerning. The guest bathroom shower was unusable due to a broken shower head. This was not a big deal for us since we were a party of 2, but if there were additional guests everyone would have had to share the master bath shower. The home was in need of a deep clean: cobwebs filled with bugs, dirty dishes in cabinets, refrigerator handles dirty. We did not feel that these issues warranted reaching out the the management company during our stay so we sent a message through VRBO after our stay. When we did not hear back after 4 days we sent an email directly to the management company and they responded that they would put in maintenance orders to address the issues for future guests.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
check in snafus; and gate coded gate was inoperable
The place is gorgeous: the home, the furnishings and infrastructure, the grounds, and the setting. There were key challenges though, that reduced the value of the stay. 1)the initial check in process was weird. I was later told I had not completed it, which (if true) is only because the materials sent to me were so convoluted that I was unable to see that I had left something uncompleted. I still do not see it! 2)The gate entrance code did not work. I had to turn around and return to town to be back in cell phone coverage, to be able to call the emergency line to see why the code did not work. 3)The emergency number provided connected me to someone who was easily confused and who seemed drunk. Had to call again, spoke with someone else, and then finally received call from management. 4)I was told the code should work, and to press harder. 5)I returned to the property. The code did not work. I got out and pressed with my full body weight on the keys, and the code still did not work. I had also just been told that there was a side entrance, but it was now fully dark and it was impossible to find the side entrance. The location, beautiful, is also very remote. I parked outside the gate, found a walk-in entrance, and walked all my bags in to the front door. Now some 2.5 hours, drives, and multiple calls later, I was in. Finally.6)The entrance code did not work the next day either.
