"The hotel is fantastic and we ate in the Italian and Portuguese restaurants. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Room was great and the hotel picked up from the passports that it was my wife’s birthday and left some bubbles for us when we returned from a Levada walk. Turn left out of hotel and walk 20 mins and some great restaurants got to try Bistrot Des Agnes. Turn right and 25 mins walk into Funchal. We’re coming back and will definitely stay at Porto Mare again"

The service team was always professional and genuinely kind. Vila Galé Santa Cruz manages to be both luxurious and laid-back — ideal for families, couples, or anyone looking to truly relax.
