Piney Creek Cottages

This picture was taken on the New River while I was out learning to fly fish with my father. The one thing that I really take away from this picture is how peaceful it is. I think that this represents the Appalachia region because for the most part this river has always been here. At one point it was someones way of catching food for their family, or a way for them to travel to different places down the river. But, today it was the river that let me enjoy time with my father without the distractions of technology or the busy world around us. This river will probably continue to be here long after we are gone, but one thing is for certain it will always be apart of Appalachia’s identity. #appalachianechos

"This was the perfect cabin for a much-needed weekend away! It was so secluded and so quiet! The heated floors made the whole cabin feel like we were wrapped in a cocoon. Perfect for a cold winter weekend! The cabin is as beautiful as the surrounding forest. The host was lovely as well. We loved it and can't wait to come back!"

"Richard was great to communicate with and very hospitable. The cabin is small, but cozy as advertised. I was there during February. There was beautiful snow on the ground and the development had been recently plowed. Richard provided wood for the wonderful fireplace. It's peaceful and quiet up there, highly recommend. "
