"Very accommodating staff. A full breakfast was provided with fresh and poached fruit. The hotel is a 10 relatively level walk from the train station and Naples historic sights were within walking distance. Lots of history in and near Naples. "

"The Grand Hotel is a mediocre, apparently 5*, hotel. I have stayed in 3* hotels which have been much better. In Naples, Parkers Hotel is far superior. The ‘superior’ room whilst reasonably spacious was drab and had no facility for making hot drinks. It was located on the side of the hotel and the balcony overlooked what seemed to be a massive taxi rank. The receptionist said she had upgraded us from a Classic room although we had actually paid for and reserved a Superior room on Expedia. The bathroom was small and cramped with a conventional hose shower in a small cubicle. There was little space to hang towels or anything else. The buffet breakfast was standard for this type of hotel. A few members of staff were helpful. There seemed to be a very close relationship between the taxi drivers and some of the door men who preferred to discuss the fare in Neapolitan. "

"We loved this hotel and consider the location to be perfect as a base camp for exploring Naples. and beyond. The room was super quiet, staff was available and helpful, and the area felt quite safe. We stayed 5 nights and were very happy we chose this place."

"The room is small and old and this was shocking as the price is pretty high. The breakfast was rich with things that were not that tasty and the eggs were terrible. The team is not very nice I must say."

"We stayed in a King bed with sofa bed room. We had 4 adults sharing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The King bed was comfortable and bed sheets were soft. The sofa bed was also comfortable. The mini bar fridge was a nice addition since it was well stocked with drinks & snacks, 1st round free! Only negative about this room was the open shower. It was awkward figuring out who’s showering without someone peeking in. "

"Good clean room. Staff did a workaround we requested to make the double bed more like twin single beds. They also lent us the small scissors we asked for. The room had good acoustic isolation with the streets outside, as it managed to silence the noisy streets outside. Good air conditioning. Had a medium-sized safe that could hold a laptop but didn't have a frigobar. Spacious bathroom and shower box. Bidet with appropriate aiming. Very diverse and good quality breakfast. The internal areas of the hotel are well kept, cozy and decorated. Checkout at noon is great, as there are other places that say 11 or even 10 in the morning. There are also things you can buy in the reception, like various drinks, snacks, and electric gadgets. Location is great in the sense it is as close as it gets from the main train station from the city. Unfortunately, not the hotel's fault obviously, most of that central city region is a slum. "
