"I really enjoyed my stay here, the room was clean and the bed comfy. The views were soothing. The only thing I would change is the bed headboards . I am so accustomed to higher bed headboards at hotels that my husband and I hit our heads. We laughed it off but besides that the bed was comfy and the staff was extremely pleasant especially the lady the checked us and in. I would stay here again."

"The owner made checking in very easy and was very flexible about what time we arrived. The bathroom and kitchenette were well appointed; the bedroom was quaint and cosy. The house is only a block from Haliburton’s Main Street, within easy walking distance of many restaurants and stores as well as the library, the post office, and the public park on the lake. This is a great starting point for exploring the many beautiful aspects of the Haliburton Highlands."

"Overall good stay. Cottage and property as advertised.Lots of space to accommodate a good size group. Great dining area with large table, plenty of chairs, enough seating around TV (both a couch and a love seat), bedrooms comfortable, three air conditioning units, multiple fans to keep cool, deck spacious, swimming was good with sandy bottom (there is a strong current as a heads up) and a really great size property.Things to keep in mind - this is a cottage and not a fancy home on the water. Some examples for perspective are that the furniture in living room is a bit out dated, dock needs some love etc. We had one issue that we advised the owner of after the fact and they were responsive and took action.The space is as described on the site and photos are good representation. Overall good experience and we had a great weekend!"

"This is a great place to stay while 'away' and we were very lucky to have found this place at a relatively last minute for an unexpected trip to Haliburton area. We used most of the amenities offered (hot tub, games room, campfire pit in the middle of the woods) but we didn't get a chance to try the kayaks provided - next time! The host Asif was very responsive and regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was good. If I'm in the Haliburton area again, I will be checking again to see if this place is available."

"Great place to recharge and enjoy family timeWe spent four nights here with our two boys and it was exactly the reset we needed. The lake view is gorgeous — we found ourselves out on the deck every morning with a coffee just taking it in.The swimming was great right off the dock, and the kayak and water-bike was a great bonus :)The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for a family stay, and the location is peaceful and quiet.We'd happily come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
