"Had a great time at this property. It was a family trip, my kids are ages 13 and 5. They played by the river, the swings and the rope swing all day. Never wanted to go into the house. You have the whole river to yourself and it is very secluded. My husband and I also spent all day outside. Fishing, playing horseshoes and just sitting by the river relaxing. We only went into the house in the evenings. We were able to just put in some DVDs and watch movies and play dominoes. It was so peaceful in the house, you could enjoy the sound of the river, frogs and birds etc. I would definitely recommend this place to a family that just wants to enjoy their time together and can stay at a place that has the basics provided and doesn’t need a fancy modern house to stay in."

"Great B&B! Very clean, very nice. Great breakfasts. Connie is a great hostess; we enjoyed talking with her and the other guests at breakfast. She is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a couple of great tips for places to see. My sister joined us for one night -- she was not on the original reservation -- Connie accomodated her in our room and for breakfast at no extra cost. Highly recommend this place."

"Charming room with basic amenities, very quiet at night, only about 30 minutes from Grant Grove Village. The openable windows and ceiling fan are great. Reasonably priced. "

"We stayed in the main unit, a lovely and cozy cabin. The manager left notes about the weather and instructions on using everything in the cabin. The place had everything one could dream of, for a cabin in the woods. It was very comfortable and quiet, and we immensely enjoyed our stay. We originally booked one of the small units. The weather was not good. It was snowing a lot, and the manager was very considerate and changed us to the main unit. We are very grateful for this change. "

"Melanie was a great host, she responded promptly to my questions. Check in process was simple and explained clearly. Cabin was cozy and has everything you could need. Only issue we encountered was that hwy 245 was closed due to construction, so in order to get to the cabin you had to use a 20 minute detour, from National Park. I didn't realize this until days later after my booking, so my mistake. Something of note, if you're tall like my husband (6" tall), bathtub might be a little inconvenient for you as you might bump your head on the roof."

"We met up for the Jazz Festival. Although tucked away, this was a great place to stay, with easy access. my only reservation was the climbing up the steep stairs. ( being in the mountains, I should have known.) One of the group has cardiac problems so this was a bit difficult. Otherwise, everything was very clean and well organized. Virtually anything we needed was available. The views were unbelievable coffee on the porch was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
